Terms of Service

The rules that apply when you access or purchase Sayleaf voice reading services.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Reiji Chigira, the operator of Sayleaf. By accessing the service or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Sayleaf lets users submit English text, listen to it in an available voice, and save an audio file where the selected plan permits. Features, voice options, limits, and supported formats may change as the service is maintained.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep access credentials secure. You may use the service only if you can enter into a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. A parent or legal guardian must approve use by a minor.

4. Credits and validity

Paid plans provide a stated number of voice credits. One credit is used when one voice file is successfully prepared for saving. Unless a purchase screen states otherwise, credits expire 90 days after purchase and have no cash value. Credits cannot be transferred or resold.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed before checkout in the stated currency. Purchases are one-time charges unless the checkout screen clearly says otherwise. Card information is collected by our payment processor; Sayleaf does not store your complete card number.

6. Your text and permitted use

You retain the rights you hold in text submitted to Sayleaf. You give us a limited permission to process that text solely to provide, secure, and support the requested service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use the text.

You may not use Sayleaf to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, impersonate a person without permission, distribute deceptive or harmful material, interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass usage or security limits.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Sayleaf available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, network issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may suspend access when necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.

8. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every pronunciation, pacing choice, or output will meet every intended use.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability arising from a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase. This limit does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The updated date will be shown on this page. We may end or restrict access for a material breach, misuse, or a security risk.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum, the Maebashi District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to reiji208.st@gmail.com.
